This was Hansen Yuncken’s first project for Queensland Health. The site was small for the project size and because it was next to the original hospital, there were pedestrians, traffic and helicopters to be aware of. We had a site visit with Craig prior to the job commencing and he outlined their constraints, timeline and expected equipment quality. Ultimately, Reliable Hire was chosen due to our capability of providing a ‘one stop’ local hire solution for the project. From Site Accommodation at the start of the project we also supplied pedestrian barriers, earth-moving equipment & access equipment.
When they were given possession of site, they had to set it up immediately for the first preliminary works. We were able to supply Temporary Site Offices, Lunch Rooms, First Aid Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Toilet Block & Temporary Fence in a short time period so the site could be secured for start of works.
All the equipment had to be supplied with up-to-date certification and safety equipment. Service and Delivery staff had to be inducted for the site. We compiled a checklist of the equipment requirements and ensured the items were ready for immediate use when they got to site. In the initial stages of the project we arranged for staff to be site inducted.
As we were only one phone call away, Hansen Yuncken could count on us to organise specialist access equipment that was required due to the height and design of the building and we often provided complimentary bbq’s.
